An invasive weed, garlic mustard can be seen in woods and natural areas around Chicagoland. It’s easy to pull, however. You should definitely try to remove it before it goes to seed. Once you see the white flowers appear, your time is limited as it will go to seed soon. Once you’ve pulled it, you can put it in the compost or into a sealed bag in the trash if it’s gone to seed.
