Go Green Illinois was established in the Spring of 2013 to encourage and support the establishment of citizen’s environmental groups in every community in the northern suburbs. There are currently 22 communities actively participating. Go Green Illinois provides a forum to share best practices among the groups and to collaborate on addressing environmental challenges that cross municipal boundaries.

Presentation topics have included active transportation, electrical aggregation, natural landscape practices, local politics, recycling, stormwater management, community solar, community engagement and food waste. Time at each meeting is allotted to sharing community projects and networking.

Go Green Illinois meets every other month. For more information, contact Co-Facilitators, Beth Drucker or Kim Stone here.

Please note that CONSEG is not a business networking group or a job networking opportunity.  It is for people actively engaged in community-based environmental groups and issues.
