Getting through the winter as the pandemic continues will mean that we will need to do some socializing outside. Experts recommend several steps to stay warm in cold weather:

  1. Dress in layers to keep heat in and wind out, and so that you can stay dry.
  2. Warm feet are key – insulated boots and/or wool socks will help keep your feet, and you, toasty.
  3. Heat rises – wear a hat to keep the heat in your body.
  4. Keep moving – walking, snowshoeing and dancing are great ways to stay warm outside.
