On May 24 at 6:30 – 8 PM, the Winnetka Bookstall will host the first session of a new book discussion group devoted to the environment.
First selection: Elizabeth Kolbert’s Pulitzer Prize winner, The Sixth Extinction.
Discussion led by Jon Grand, Bookstall Manager. Jon is a long-standing environmentalist; formerly of the EPA and the Wisconsin Dept of Environmental Resources.
There’s a lot of blame to go around, but the time for mud-slinging — and hand-wringing — is over. Time for serious conversation instead.
