9th Annual Buckthorn Barbecue: Tracks on the Trail – A Moving History

The Buckthorn Barbecue is the Friends of the Green Bay Trail’s annual celebration of its restoration efforts and an opportunity to share its future plans. This year’s keynote speaker is Geoffrey Baer, Emmy award winning WTTW-Channel 11 host and producer of historical documentaries. Geoffrey will share the rich history of the Green Bay Trail and its role in the establishment of Chicago’s North Shore.
The Barbecue supports the Friends’ restoration and stewardship efforts to restore the nature’s beauty on this valuable natural and recreational asset.
