Go Green Park Ridge Sustainable Yards Walk

Go Green Park Ridge and the Park Ridge Sustainability Commission are hosting a Sustainable Yard Walk which is free to all. Visitors can expect to reimage a “perfect yard”. The five featured yards/gardens on this walk will highlight environmentally friendly features like native plants, lawn reduction techniques, shade gardens, vegetable gardens, rain gardens and a prairie recreation. We hope you pick up tips to use in your yards.

The official list of homes on the tour will be published at gogreenparkridge.org a few days prior to the event. Docents will be at each yard.
